TEHRAN, June 10, YJC - Seven elements affiliated with terrorist groups have been arrested in a surprise operation in Fars province southwest of Iran, PR department of Fars intelligence office said Friday.

According to the report issued by the Public Relations department of the intelligence office of Fars province, intelligence officers backed by police force carried out a surprise operation on Thursday night and Friday morning during which seven elements affiliated with takfiri terrorist groups were arrested in the province.
The terrorists are currently in custody of Fars intelligence office for interrogation.
Further news on the arrested terrorists will be disclosed to media later, according to Fars intelligence office.
Also on Friday, Iran’s intelligence ministry released a communiqué recounting the latest follow-up measures by Iranian security forces after the Wednesday terrorist attacks on Tehran. The announcement noted joint operation by the Intelligence Ministry, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Iran’s Police during which several safe houses of Wahhabi terrorists were identified and attacked and a huge amount of weapons and bomb precursors, explosive belts, some means of communication and forged documents were found in the dens of the terrorists.
The Wednesday terrorist attacks on Iran’s Parliament and the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini left 17 people dead and 50 others injured. ISIL claimed responsibility for both attacks.
