Ramin Mehmanparast has said that Iran's relations with Latin American countries are not to threat any other country's interests.
In a press conference the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in answer to a question regarding the relations between Iran and Venezuela "Iran's relation with other countries including Latin American ones is not against any other country's interests.”

"There are great potentials in Iran and Latin America which will be followed better with increasing relationships between the countries. These relationships will not threat a third country. That Canadian officials are worried shows that they do not like interests of independent countries,” said Mehmanparast.

Also providing comments on the letter by 17 Iranian officials to the President of Egypt, Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman said "The letter related to the Iranian intellectuals was intended to present our experiences after the revolution and it is not an official letter.” He added that the scholars' letter is an independent act and not related to the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"Iran and Egyptian potentials benefit both countries if they are put side by side,” Mehmanparst asserted.
