TEHRAN, June 22, YJC - Iranian Minister of Industry, Trade and Mine Mohammad-Reza Nemat-Zadeh said Iran’s Zabol district, located in southeastern Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchestan would turn out to be an international trade center.

Minister: Iran’s Zabol to become int’l trade centerTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Zabol is a place which links Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan and creates a center for growth and development of Iran and neighboring countries. It also provides access to international waters and Central Asian countries,” he said in ceremony of signing a deal on building a tire factory in Zabol.

He referred to north-south transit corridor of this path and said Iran would have more traffic from Chabahar to Central Asia.

He noted that the factory is expected to create jobs opportunities for 1300 individuals directly and indirectly.

Such investment and factories would strengthen regional security, he noted.
