Tehran, YJC. A member of the National Security Committee of the Majlis says that Hashemi uses a sophisticated think tank to direct his campaign.

Javad Karimi Qodousi said "Reports say that some highly competent psychological warfare experts and espionage services in a think tank provide an hour-by-hour supply of tactics as things progress.”

He also pointed to a letter by 100 lawmakers to the Guardian Council asking for evaluation of Hashemi and Mashaei’s and said that the letter has tapped into a logical language to address the Guardian Council as watchdog over the system’s health.

Qodousi further stated that Hashemi used to be a refuge for those who fled from and fought the Guardian Jurist during the 09 post-electoral incidents.

He then pointed to Mehdi Hashemi’s post-09-electoral record, saying "In some 09 sedition documents, he calls Zanganeh and tells him I have launched a war room and everything is ready.”

He also expressed optimism that the Ministry of Intelligence has documents relating Mehdi Hashemi to intelligence services.

"They are up-to-date and, on the other side, stances adopted by media of the reactionary regional states and devout enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the US and Europe prove that they are all behind this current,” he asserted.
