TEHRAN, July 12, YJC - The Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom issued a statement in which they congratulated Iraqi people and Shia sources of emulation on their victory over ISIS takfiri terrorist in Mosul.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The text of the statement, according to Hawzah News agency, which is signed by Ayatollah Muhammad Yazdi, Head of the Society of Seminary Teachers' Supreme Council, is as follows:

In the name of Allah, The Most Compassionate, The Most Merciful

We congratulate the Iraqi nation on the triumphant victory of their courageous forces in liberating Mosul from ISIS terrorists.

The decisive victory of Iraqi popular mobilization forces and military over brutal ISIS terrorists in Mosul brought a wave of jubilance, pride and dignity to all freed men and Muslims around the world.

The Iraqi nation managed to liberate Mosul by the leadership of Shia sources of emulation, especially Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani, as well as through unity and solidarity of all Iraqi people.

Today, the historic and deterministic fatwa (religious order) of Jihad bears its fruits and the great position of Shia sources of emulation in boosting unity and solidarity among the people and government of Iraq resulted in restoring the sovereignty of the country.

Most certainly, the unparalleled role of Iraqi popular mobilization forces in recapturing Mosul, the self-proclaimed ISIS capital in Iraq, marks a new chapter in the history of Iraqis' struggles against their enemies. ISIS takfiri terrorists will face more losses in future and eventually fall into total destruction and humiliation.

The Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom prays to Allah almighty for all soldiers of the Islamic world; we also thank the Iraqi popular mobilization forces, the people, the Iraqi military and government for their efforts and pray for victory and dignity of all Muslim countries.

Muhammad Yazdi

Head of the Society of Seminary Teachers' Supreme Council in Qom
