TEHRAN, July 22, YJC - Iran’s CEO of National Information Network Integrated Management tells about the country’s scientific network to the Europ’s.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Behnam Valizadeh said that scientific network is a network serving scientific centers, research institutes, noting that the overall coverage of Iran’s scientific network will be activated by the next year.
The network provides processing, storage, and multimedia services to its users, he added.
Valizadeh added that such activities as uploading digital libraries, judging and ranking research articles, multimedia communication, and free advice for universities are of other services of the scientific network.
He asserted that Iran’s scientific network provides a speedy context for scientific centers to connect them to each other with its broadband capacity elevated. Research studies and journals management also is provided in the very network, he added.
Valizade said that for the time being the network has been activated in Tehran and is to be generalized throughout the country by November 2019.
Reporting the connection of Iran’s scientific network to that of Europe, Valizade said that further negotiations has been done to develop a concentration in national networks of ECO countries, Caspian Sea countries, and Islamic countries.
