Iran envoy: Tehran-Amsterdam economic cooperation expected to rise by 50%

TEHRAN, August 24 - Iranian Ambassador to the Netherlands Alireza Jahangiri said the volume of economic exchanges between Iran and the Netherlands is expected to increase by 50 percent this year.

He then said the Islamic Republic of Iran is set for extensive economic cooperation with European countries, including the Netherlands.

“Over last two years, dozens of political, economic and trade delegations have been exchanged by the two sides and the volume of economic exchanges between the two countries is expected to increase by 50 percent this year, comparing to the year before.”

He further said Iran has always hailed presence and investment of Dutch companies.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran’s embassy in the Hague has tried to pave the way presence of Dutch investors in Iranian economic sectors.”

Jahangiri continued Iranian tourism attractions is an important factor for expanding bilateral tourism relations between Iran and the Netherlands.
