TEHRAN, September 22 - The rituals are meant to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein and his companions some 14 centuries ago in Karbala. Millions of Muslims make pilgrimage to Karbala to honor the sacrifices of Imam Hussein.
