Tehran, YJC. Qalibaf has said that the current state of affairs in Iran is unlikely to get the country past problems.

Speaking to fans in Mashhad on Sunday, Mohammadbaqer Qalibaf said "Right now we are at a historic bend. But the shipwrecked economy and our snail-paced diplomacy cannot get us past this bend.”

"Neither the nation nor the coming administration have time for trial and error, because we are at a historic bend from which the shipwrecked economy and the snail-paced diplomacy cannot save us,” he asserted.

Qalibaf stated "We need no government in space or on paper. Neither going on the current trend nor getting back to old times is advisable. Because everyone saw the old times and the current time has harassed everyone economically. Therefore we need an administration with jihadi morale which could remove problems from our way.”
