TEHRAN, YJC. The Supreme Leader has said that despite what the enemy has to say about the elections, the Iranian nation has always done its own job.

The Supreme Leader cast his vote early this morning. He then provided comments on the current round of elections and said "Enemies tried hard to inculcate gloom and cynicism to keep people from voting. In this round of elections they have surpassed media violations so that west-bound politicians and entities outwardly act against people’s presence on the stage.”

He pointed to the statements by a US authority who had said that the US does not recognize elections in Iran and said "The enemies’ idea has never been of importance to the Iranian nation. The nation has always decided for itself what it needs and what is expedient for the country. It has chosen and will do so accordingly.”
