Iraq’s flag flown all over Iraq: Al-Ibadi

TEHRAN, October 18 - Iraqi Prime Minister warned of subversive actions in Kirkuk and the disputed areas.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to Sumeria news website, Haidar al-Ibadi on Tuesday said that Iraq’s flag will be flown in ever part of the country.

Also referring to the Iraqi forces’ operations in southern part of the country, the prim Minister said “soon we will announce the liberation of all parts of Iraq and dominance over the borderlines wit Syria”.

He said the referendum ended and joined history, referring to the recent separatism in the Kurdistan region, which was held despite internal and external oppositions.
“I told Kurdish leaders that a referendum would firstly hurt the interests of the Kurds” he went on.

Asserting that Iraq will never engaged in war with the Kurdish region, al-Ibadi invited the Kurd officials to negotiate based on Iraq’s Constitution.

He further repudiated any consensus on creating three regions in Iraq’s Kurdistan and emphasized on expanding Iraqi government dominance upon all of the county’s regions.

Iraqi forces arrived in Kirkuk on Monday under the command of Iraqi Prime Minister and Army Commander-in-Chief Haidar al-Abadi to provide the security of the Kirkuk province.
