Tehran, YJC. In a letter to Putin, Rouhani has asserted that his administration will try to make friendly relations with all countries.
In a
letter to Vladimir Putin’s congratulations on his electoral victory, Hassan Rouhani
addressed the Russian Prime Minister, stating that his administration will harbinger
peace and friendship with all nations of the world.
"The new Iranian government will rely on the old, vital Iranian civilization and rich Islamic culture to make a way through understanding, trust, and mutual respect toward strengthening bonds with countries of the world,” the letter reads.
"The new administration will accordingly do its best,” it adds.
The President-elect emphasizes in his letter his optimistic views on flourishing extensive relations between Iran and Russia.
Rouhani asserts that Russia is a great neighbor country which holds a special place in Iran’s foreign policy, no less in the 11th administration.
