TEHRAN, November 9 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif reiterated that Iran’s 4-point peace plan on settlement of Yemeni crisis already submitted to the UN is still ‘valid’.

Zarif says Iran’s 2-point plan on Yemen still ‘valid’TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “In 2015, soon after Saudi coalition initiated war on Yemen, I wrote to #UNSG offering a 4 point peace plan: Ceasefire; Humanitarian Assistance; Intra-Yemeni Dialogue & Inclusive Government. Over 2.5 years and many lives later that plan is still valid today,” he tweeted.

Saudi Arabia has been incessantly pounding Yemen since March 2015 in an attempt to bring back Hadi, a staunch ally of Riyadh, to power and to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement. The Riyadh regime has, however, failed to reach its goals despite suffering great expense.

The military aggression has claimed the lives of more than 12,000 people, most of them civilians.
