Iran condemns Saudi crown prince’s hostile remarksTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Injudicious and cheap remarks and behaviors of Saudi crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman caused that no one gives credit to his remarks in the international scene, said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi.

He added that mistakes of the adventurous Saudi crown prince, the latest of which is meddling in Lebanese internal affair, have made troubles for traditional ally of Saudi Arabia.

“The adventurist Saudi crown prince should take into account the inevitable fate of infamous dictators in the region.”

He made the remarks after Mohammed bin Salman said Riyadh prefers a confrontational approach to “appeasement” in dealing with Iran.

In an interview with the New York Times published on Thursday, Mohammed bin Salman made an analogy between Iran’s growing regional influence and Germany’s hegemonic policies in the Hitler era and said, “We learned from Europe that appeasement does not work.”

Saudi Arabia has been pursuing an open warmongering policy toward Iran. Earlier this year, Mohammed bin Salman threatened to move the “battle” to Iran.
