TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to SANA, an official source in Syria’s Foreign Ministry announced that Damascus strongly condemned UN Special Envoy in Syria and France’s Foreign Ministry for they introduced Syria as country that hampered the progress of the recent Geneva talks.

“These allegations are clearly a showcase of Syrian opposition that habitually spreading anxiety and lies, a manner at the cost of the Syrian people’s blood” the official source added.

Syria with its honest efforts, he added, has always had positive collaboration to get out of the current crisis, and the Damascus delegation has seriously involved in this round of talks, hoping that it would have positive results, but the Riyadh statement and its prescriptive positions made all the predictions incorrect; the statement has been drafted for one purpose, which was to fail this round of negotiations.
