Tehran, YJC. -- Venezuela late Friday said has "ended" its rapprochement with the United States due to a statement by Samantha Power, nominated to become the US envoy to the United Nations.
Caracas said it was ending a trend towards warming ties because Power told a US Senate hearing Wednesday that she would fight against repression in Venezuela. The two countries have not not exchanged ambassadors since 2010.
