Tehran, YJC. Prominent clergy says that terrorists use blasphemy as a way to put Islamic faiths at loggerheads.

Hojatoleslam Mohsen Gheravian said in an interview with Mehr News Agency, providing comments on the attack on the holy shrine of Zeinab bint Ali "With such heinous acts, terrorists on one side try to spread disagreement and ignite crusades between the Shiite and the Sunni, following the interests of colonialism and world arrogance, and on the other hand with such sectarian conflict, they want to raise the emotions of the Shiite and Sunni schools.”

He added "One of the freemasonry schemes throughout the world is to create sectarian conflict; by profane acts, radical groups fair on the path of freemasonry, where Muslims are obliged to be careful and not get involved.”

"Another aim by doing such acts is that the terrorists want to introduce Islam as harsh and to destroy the appearance of Islam, that is why they show Muslims as raucous, but they must know that they will never attain their ghastly goals,” he asserted.

The Faculty Member of the Global Society of Mustafa said "The entire world must be clean from any sort of religious conflict. One must always express contempt at such riots.”

He believed that such acts are designed to imply that Muslims are terrorists.

Gheravian called for the scholars of Al-Azhar University to do their best to stop such divisive schemes from happening, warning that the fire breaking from such operations will burn everyone the same.
