Tehran, YJC. A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy of the Majlis has said that international organizations must confront the violation of human rights in Pakistan.

Nozar Shafii has called for Pakistani religious scholars’ attention to the massacre of Muslims in Quetta, saying "There must be different kinds of confrontation to the doers of the Quetta crime.”

He provided comments on the Pakistani government’s reaction to terrorists and said "It is the legal obligation of a government to protect citizens. It can use legal force to fight terrorists. This can first of all show the government’s power and secondly provide security to the people.

Shafii added "The second obligation concerns non-governmental organizations. Pakistani religious scholars must initiate talks against the violent act since it may hurt both Shiite and Sunni.”

He also said that Iran as a powerful Islamic country does not like the Islamic world to be subject to harms.
