TEHRAN, January 24 - Iran’s first International Comprehensive Marine Exhibition kicked off in Tehran on Wednesday.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The exhibition includes 6 main sectors of marine transportation, ports, building vessels, marine tourism, fisheries and offshore.
Officials from Iran’s Ministry of Road and Urban Development, Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, head of Iran’s Marine Industries, Iranian Navy commander, Iranian lawmakers and heads of related unions took part in the inauguration ceremony.
140 Iranian and foreign companies are taking part in the exhibition which include France, Poland, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, China and Russia.
They are presenting expertise for building vessels and offshore equipment, port services, marine transportation, extracting marine resources, fisheries, marine environment, marine tourism, insurance and investment, ranking, marine security and free zones.
