Tehran, YJC. Haqshenas says that Rouhani has not been able to use Reformists in his cabinet as he would have liked to.

National Trust Party central council member and prominent Reform activist Mohammadjavad Haqshenas said in answer to the question if Reformists’ right has been paid in Rouhani's designate cabinet "I believe that Mr. Rouhani could make more use of Reformists’ power and popularity. But some considerations, of which we are all aware, have kept him from doing so.”

Haqshenas added "Meanwhile as we saw, the Reform elders did not demand a share either, and were rather supportive.”

Haqshenas who holds a doctorate degree in international relations then provided comments on the selection of Zarif as the Minister of Foreign Affairs "Zarif is the only person in the last thirty years to have been designated the position with educations in international relations which relates to his responsibilities.”

"It is a pity that no Foreign Minister so far has had educations relevant to foreign affairs. Rather, they have had educations in medical laboratory, pediatrics, nuclear energy, pedagogy, and architecture,” he added.

Haqshenas expected that the choice of Zarif as the Minister of Foreign Affairs will have a positive global feedback.
