Tehran, YJC. Afkham has rebuffed Arab League’s accusations against Assad.
The Spokeswoman of the Foreign
Ministry of Iran has strongly condemned the Arab League’s Sunday statement on Syria.
Marzieh Afkham said "The Arab
League’s reaction prior to an official announcement by the UN investigators
indicates a kind of pre-established political judgment.”
Condemning the statement by
the Arab League as contributing to the load of pressure on the Syrian government,
she added "Such positions make more and more critical, rather than help, current
situations.”
