Tehran, YJC. Head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization says that the Bushehr nuclear power plant is the most secure one in the world.

Salehi in the sidelines of the official handover of the Bushehr nuclear power
plant to Iran said "34 years of hardship, threats, restrictions, and sanctions
could not defeat the nation. Today we are turning over another golden chapter
of the nation’s achievements.”
"There
is rarely a nation under so much pressure, yet achieving so much. The countries
before us have adopted the language of confrontation rather that of interaction,”
maintained the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.
He added
that Iran is the only country to own the peaceful atomic energy among the 57 Islamic
states, adding "Yet the other honor is that we are indigenizing the project.”
The
Head of the Atomic Energy Organization then addressed the officials of neighbor
countries, saying "Do not worry, because if the power plant was to have any
problem we must have got worried about ourselves first and then neighbor
countries. We invite you to come here as guests and we will answer your
questions.”
Salehi
further asserted "We do not want the non-peaceful nuclear energy. Governments
come and go, but the leadership is there and has provided ample support.”
