Tehran, YJC. Salehi has said that removing sanctions will not necessitate shutting down the Fordo nuclear site.

Mehr News Agency reports Aliakbar Salehi on Wednesday morning in the sidelines of the government session saying "People who make up the nuclear negotiation team enjoy the experience needed for the job.”

In answer to a question based on a Guardian report that Rouhani intends to deactivate the Fordo site before going to New York, Salehi said "I do not think that something like that must have been mentioned.”

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran in regard to his attendance at the annual IAEA session said "This year as I attended the session there was such a positive atmosphere there that it was not comparable to that of the previous year.”

Salehi maintained "In the following months we will see turning points in the issue."

"As I had said earlier, we have much hope in the process adopted to solve the nuclear issue. We expect the begining of the progress out of the nuclear issue in the coming months," he added.
