Tehran, YJC. Second in command of the IRGC has said that the Supreme Leader’s “heroic flexibility” means not backing down from principal interests by any means.

Speaking in a talk show on the state TV, Brigadier General Hossein Salami pointed to the Supreme Leader’s "heroic flexibility” against the enemies and said "Heroic flexibility means that we will not back down from our main lines and our national and vital interests by no means; and that these rights are not to be exchanged with any privilege.”

"Our principal frameworks are constant and inflexible. Our ideals will never meet depreciation. For example, the right to have the peaceful nuclear energy in accordance with criteria is unalienable to us. It is an nonconforming right and there is no flexibility on it, but within this framework, every political flexibility as a tactic is acceptable, because we do not want to create a dead end in solving political issues,” Salami said.

He added "Today we can say that not only are we at a respectable, secure level of defense of our values and national power, we have also created and organized a defense power to triumph over the enemies at every level, and on every scale, which has turned into a reality under the sun.”

The second in command of the IRGC exclaimed that Iran’s response to threats will make the enemy regretful, adding "The response will be a mixture of novelty, insight, and the application of the power we have accumulated, a power which has been stored to intimidate and deter the enemy from all malicious intention. The magnitude of this power will be much greater than what they will face in a state of war.”
