Tehran, YJC. President says that Iran needs a powerful lobby in the US to rival that of Israel.
In the sidelines of the governmental session on Wednesday, Rouhani
pointed to Israeli lobbyism in the US and said "We must make up for a powerful Iranian
lobby. We must try to make our voice reach the US. Of course there are Iranians
in the country and in a meeting I had with the Iranians that live in the US I told
them that they are our voice and our image and they have to reflect the reality
of Iran.”
"The talk of moderation was welcomed,” Rouhani pointed to his recent trip to New York, adding "The world has come to understand that extremism is dangerous. We stand for peace, moderation, and global integrity, things which we pursued during the trip,” he further said.
