US Senate urges Obama to press for more sanctions against N. Korea

Tehran,YJC. The US Senate has adopted a bill that binds President Barack Obama to press for slapping more international sanctions on North Korea.
The bill points out that when North Korea conducted another nuclear test on February 12th, it made another provocative move that threatens global peace and security.

The Senators urged the Obama Administration to work closely with other countries at the UN Security Council on drafting more sanctions against Pyongyang.

The draft resolution that envisages more measures of retaliation against North Korea are currently under discussion during consultations between the UN Security Council member-states.
