Tehran, YJC. The spokesman of the governmental cabinet says Rouhani's to-be trip to the US is to be consulted with the public.

Speaking in the sidelines of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht said "The order for an opinion poll on the President’s trip to the US has been issued. That is because the government believes that the citizens’ rights must be considered. One of the rights of the citizens is for them to be able to comment on the ways they are served.”

The government’s spokesman also pointed to reports about the attempts to remove Mousavi and Karoubi from house arrest and said "I do not deny the Judiciary Minister’s report on the case of Messrs. Mousavi and Karoubi. Whatever is decided we will issue the report.”
