Tehran, YJC. Rouhani has discussed the latest concerns in meeting with the new Swiss ambassador.

In meeting with the new Swiss ambassador, president Rouhani pointed to the Geneva nuclear talks and said "The Swiss government has the ability to act more than a host and take measures to help the talks progress.”

He stated that as the aim is to build mutual trust, many ways can be found to do so, adding "I feel that all the negotiating sides on the nuclear case have come to realize that the old way was not the way.”

The president added "I believe that in the world today win-lose situations have never succeeded. We all must think of win-win situations. The Islamic Republic of Iran has the political will that is needed for that.”

Rouhani further said "In the meetings I had with international leaders in the sidelines of the 68th UN General Assembly I saw that things have completely changed compared to the past. Also in a meeting I had with some European leaders I recognized an atmosphere has been created there that says a new path must be taken.”

He asserted that the Islamic Republic of Iran tries to show to the world that it moves within international regulations and there is nothing to hide.

The president also expressed hopes that as the US interest section in Iran, the Embassy of Switzerland will convey Iran’s goodwill to the American government.
