Tehran, YJC. Head of National Security Committee says November 4 will not be influenced by recent Iran-US talks.

Head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Majlis Alaeddin Boroujerdi speaking to the Islamic Society of Engineers on Saturday pointed to the upcoming November 4, the anniversary of the siege of the US Embassy in Tehran in 1979, and said "The ‘Down with USA’ slogan will not change with a few talks.”

"The serious change on this year’s November 4 will be that the ‘Down with USA’ slogan will be bolder than the past,” he asserted.

Boroujerdi also stated that Iran’s red line on the Iran-West negotiations will be the shutdown of the Fordo facilities.

He maintained that Iran does not trust the opposite side as it sits for talks.

Further stated that the US is ready to start some cooperation with Iran, the Head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said "Of course we are pessimistic toward the US; but our goals are national interests and we will decide according to national interests.”
