Tehran, YJC. Ramin Mehmanparast has said that the West's covert schemes in Syria are thoroughly overseen and their behavior seems dishonest.

Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that currently the situation in Syria has turned critical where innocent people are dying. "If anyone thinks about the people's right he has to create a situation where they would get hurt less,” Mehmanparast said in interview with Mehr News Agency.

"What criteria is there to find if someone is telling the truth if they say they care for the people's rights,” demanded Mehmanparast.

He said the number of people fighting the power in Syria to be 20, 50, or 100 at most and asked if they could be regarded as representative of the Syrian people.

"Syrian oppositions are divided into two groups. One following their interests from outside and one from inside the country,” the FM Spokesman said.

He said "Those who are in opposition and live inside Syria are for ceasing the fights and launching national talks and expressing their lawful demands by democratic procedures.”
