Tehran, YJC. Hosseini says Israel has lobbied the EU into resuming sanctions against Iran in order to influence the nuclear negotiations.

ICANA reports that Baqer Hosseini, member of the Majlis Committee for National Security and Foreign Policy, providing comments on the resumption of EU sanctions against Iran despite a short-term suspension said "Under Zionist pressure and lobbyism, the EU resumed the sanctions against Iran which it had previously suspended to have influenced the Iran-Six Majors talks as demanded by the Zionist regime.”

"The Zionist regime is worried about any kind of prospective agreement between Iran and the Six Majors on the upcoming negotiations. Since it knew such an agreement would not benefit it, it tried anyway it could to influence the talks, ways that included pressuring the EU to resume previous sanctions,” he asserted.
