Tehran, YJC. The Commander of the IRI Navy Missile Force says his forces are the region’s unrivaled power.
Rear admiral Ali Vafadar speaking to Fars news agency said "In
the past three years around 3 thousand commercial ships and oil tankers have
been escorted by the Navy’s watercrafts.”
"Of that number, 147 were attacked where they were met by
the brave forces of the Navy,” he said.
Pointing to advancements made in the Navy’s maritime
education system, he said "Today the education system has reached a level where
we are able to offer our maritime education to neighbor countries and countries
elsewhere.”
