Tehran, YJC. IRGC official says national esteem is the most salient achievement on Iran’s nuclear talks.

Speaking in a meeting in Meyami, Semnan on Monday, the commander of the Neynava Corps of Golestan said "The people of Iran want welfare, but not with threats and pressure.”

Mohammad Hossein Babaei said "Preserving the nation’s esteem and power on the talks is the most important achievement of the diplomatic system,” Mehr News Agency reports.

"Our revolution takes after Hossein and is different from all revolutions. With his martyrdom, Imam Hossein taught to the world the lesson to fight oppression and to obey the leader. A mourning ceremony which goes without these notions has no value,” he exclaimed.

He pointed to foreign media on the mourning ceremony and said "Today all the world’s media are in the hands of the Zionist. They promote what they want and keep silent where it is not to their benefit.”

Babaei stated "These media would like the Islamic awakening to be promoted as dormant and they try to make these voices metamorphosed.”

He also referred to the Iran-Six Majors talks and said "This whole while the Iranian nation has fought all the sanctions and our people will be the same today as well and the enemies must take heed that the people of Iran want welfare, but not with pressure.”
