Tehran, YJC. Iran is laying grounds to open a big center for the distribution of books in Afghanistan.

Al-Huda is Iran’s sole publication company with permission for operation outside the country.

It has been active in a number of countries, including Afghanistan where it holds a 10-year record.

The head of the publication company in interview with Tasnim said that his company is attempting to launch a book distribution in Afghanistan which is unprecedented in the country.

The center will provide a vast range of publications, including scholarly books for faculty members and students.

Amin Motevallian stated "Every single Persian book that enters Afghanistan will help safeguard the language in this country.”

The center is also going to launch a website for Iranian and Afghan publishers to engage in closer communication, hold the first Iranian book fair in Afghanistan, and invest in launching a printing house in the country.
