Tehran, YJC. Ayatollah urges Muslims to ward off Wahhabists and Takfiries for having abandoned Islam.

Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi who was meeting the Secretary General of the World Forum for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on Wednesday evening said "Muslims must join hands to ward off the Takfiri Wahhabist, because they have moved beyond Islam. The atrocities committed by the Takfiri are unprecedented since the the creation of Adam.”

"We must not disrespect others’ sanctities,” he asserted, adding "neither should others disrespect ours. These days, though, the contrary is seen on some websites.”

Shirazi further stated that some Arab states have turned into agents to carry out the US and Israel’s plans.

He stated "Things that cause distrust among Muslims must not be done. The Shiite must not insult other sects because that would cause civil war.”

The ayatollah added "On the other hand, they also must avoid doing things that raise distrust. Changing the demography, the purchase of Shiite land and then forcing the Shiite to leave will make us believe that they are thinking otherwise.”
