Considering the development infrastructure as the primary strategic plan priority of the IME especially in the field of derivatives contracts, modern trading infrastructures, spreading cooperation with the Indonesian capital market as the largest Islamic country of the world were among the points which were highly stressed by IME officials during the session.
The visit ended by attendance of Indonesian ambassador in IME main trading floor to become familiar with the live atmosphere of trading and the trading board.
Indonesia is the 4th country of the world in terms of population and ICDX as the commodity exchange of this country offers derivatives contracts, FBOT, FOREX and the first trading venue for tin.
IME is the sole official commodity market of Iran which was established in in 2007 Tehran by the merger of Iran Agriculture Exchange and Tehran Metal Exchange.
