Tehran, YJC. Iran’s Ambassador to Switzerland tells about Rouhani's schedule visiting Davos.

Speaking in interview with Mehr News Agency, Iran’s Ambassador to Switzerland Alireza Salari said that president Rouhani will be visiting Davos only to attend the World Economic Forum.

Stating that Rouhani will stay in Davos for only one night, he said "The president will deliver a speech at the Davos meeting. He has also plans for interviews with internationally acclaimed media.”

"In the sidelines of the Davos conference, Rouhani will also hold meetings with some heads of states, whose agenda is not yet fully clear,” Salari further added.

The World Economic Forum starts on Wednesday, January 22.

Some media have indicated the possibility of a meeting between president Rouhani and the US Secretary of State John Kerry, but sources inside Iran consider it rare.
