Tehran, YJC. Mah Afarid Amir Khosravi has been hanged for running a series of dishonest economic schemes.

On Saturday morning, Mah Afarid Amir Khosravi was hanged in Evin prison for having run a series of economic corruption cases, including the famous 2011 embezzlement of Rls30,000 billion.

On Saturday morning the Tehran Prosecution Office announced on its website that the sentence to hang convict Mah Afarid Amir Khosravi had been put to action.

The report adds that the sentence followed the convict’s crime in taking part in the disruption of the country’s economic system through collusion and corrupting in the banking system, as well as the use of fraudulent, criminal ways and receiving billions of Rials of illegal money, taking part in laundry, and bribery.

Tehran General Prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolat Abadi said "The real owners of the Arya Investment Co. are the male descendents of Mansour Khan Amir Khosravi, a landowner in Amarloo, Rudbar. The Khosravi brothers had a completely normal life before launching Damash mineral water, until some years ago they decided to get some loan and construct an industrial unit for the production of mineral water in Damash, Rudbar. In the very first step, to hasten the executive process and further their goal, they made dishonest contacts with some executive and political figures by paying bribes. That was how they raised some money. Such dishonest relations and money making through bribery had come so handy to them by then. In 2006 they founded Amir Mansour Arya Investment Development where they didn’t make bones doing everything to reach their goals, such as corrupting people and the key figures at offices. As the documents of the case show, there have been tens of cases of bribery with some employees, bank managers, and some figures in executive offices, which have been carried out under various names.”
