Tehran, YJC. In response to the US Defense Secretary urging talks on Iran’s missiles, Iranian lawmaker has said if ever, it is Israel’s weapons that need to be discussed.

Member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee speaking in interview with Tasnim news agency pointed to the recent statements by the US Secretary of Defense about negotiations on Iran’s missiles and said "Our Defense Minister properly answered the rude statements. If there is going to be any talks some day, they must address the destructive weapons of the Zionist regime and the US.”

"Anyways, in the nuclear negotiations the world of arrogance is standing before us and there is nothing to be gained from them. This is a duty upon the nuclear team to defend our national rights as cleverly as they can,” Mohammad Saleh Jokar said.

He stated "No man in his right mind would discuss his defense power. The armed forces have to boost their power and equipment day after day, because if we hadn’t had our present stature, the resolute enemies would have had assaulted us a hundred times.”

Saying that international talks are needed to discuss the demolition of Israel’s weapons, the lawmaker said "It cannot be had that the Islamic world should lack missiles while the fraudulent Zionist regime which is a threat to the region and to the world must have the most destructive of weapons. We will never give way to negotiations on our missiles and that’s something Americans know well.”
