Iran, Switzerland hold 1st joint chamber of commerce meeting

Tehran, YJC. A delegation of Iranian tradesmen and a number of European economy advisors met in Tehran on Monday.

In this meeting which was attended by the Swiss ambassador to Iran and held by Iran’s Saman Bank, the director of the bank Vali Zarrabieh said "Saman Bank has relied on good agencies to establish relations with the world’s renowned banks and is ready to help those who want to do business in the area.”

In recent years extensive services have been offered to the customers in trade and export. Around 13 percent of the whole country’s import, 25 percent of food products import, and more than 35 percent of medical import has been supported by Saman Bank, he noted.

The Swiss ambassador to Iran in turn expressed happiness over the launching of the joint session and hoped that it will increase trade between Iran and his country.
