Tehran, YJC. Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran has said that as Salehi speaks of improvements in nuclear talks, there exists confidence that relations will expand.

Abbas Araghchi said "Almaty talks were a new side of Iran-5+1 negotiations. They showed a new face in the reforms they made to their proposals and the effort they made to approach Iran’s stance.”

Araghchi also believed that things will not change in a rapid way but a step toward opening a new case is positive by itself.

"We in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Salehi the Minister of Foreign Affairs are positive about this trend because diplomats are always positive. Our professional outlook dictates that we be positive; if we are not, things would not progress,” he asserted in interview with Mehr news agency.

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran added "Speaking from this viewpoint we hope that we will start the new trend. Of course this does not mean that there are no obstacles. There are big obstacles which must be removed one by one, which takes patience, resistance, and steadfastness; the same way as we stood in the past 9 months and made them correct what proposals they had made in Baghdad.”
