Tehran, YJC. IRGC Commander Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Jafari says that Iran has managed to keep its borders safe despite enemies’ efforts to create trouble around the country.

Jafari who was speaking at a conference marking the martyr commanders of IRGC, stated "The most important issue that exists inside the country in areas around south and in Kurdistan is unity among the Shiite, Sunni, and all ethnicities.”

Since the important issue right now is this, the martyrs who had realized the point defended the cause to the last bit of their power.

Pointing to terrorist attacks on Iran’s border in Sistan-Baluchestan province in the past month he said "The region’s locals and the Basij proved that they are the best defenders of the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

"We thank God for security over the country’s south-eastern areas, because despite heavy investments by our ultra-regional enemies, including the US, Israel, and some regional countries, and despite their schemes, our borders are safe.”

He added "As we relegated security to public forces, our border areas, especially to the country’s south-east enjoy proper security.”
