Tehran, YJC. As of every year, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran has just made his New Year speech in which he stressed the need for people to work toward building their country.
The Supreme Leader in his review on the past year pointed to
the fact that the enemy clearly asserted to intend to paralyze the nation with
economic restrictions, which they failed to do.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that as much as the sanctions
created hard times for the people, the public progress has been one ahead.
He also asserted that despite efforts to make the Iranian nation
turn cold toward their devotions, the people still stand steadfast in their
beliefs.
The Supreme Leader expected the year as one of progress and
movement for the Iranian nation, stressing the need that the people set
industriously for making a better country.
"Political and Economic Breakthrough” was the Supreme
Leader’s denomination for the new year.
