Tehran, YJC. The Islamic Republic of Iran's Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani praised Pakistan as a friendly and brotherly neigbor.
The Majlis speaker made the remarks in Pakistan on Thursday
while talking to reporters upon arrival at the airport.
He pointed to the various cultural and religious points that
the two nations share .
Larijani asserted that numerous areas of cooperation in economic,
political and cultural areas exist between Iran and Pakistan which expand
chances for more cooperation.
He further noted the importance of exchange of visits
between parliamentary groups from the two countries.
The Majlis speaker expressed hope that agreements of
cooperation would be signed between the two countries’ parliaments.
