Iran’s industry, mines and commerce minister heading for Muscat

Tehran, YJC. Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mines and Commerce left Tehran for Muscat on Monday heading a delegation to partake in the 15th Iran-Oman Joint Economic Commission.
During their visit, the Iranian delegation are to inaugurate Iranian exclusive trade fair in the destination city.

In the 3 days they are going to stay there, the Iranian minister and his team will confer with high-ranking officials of Oman on issues of mutual interests.

Meanwhile, the Iranian minister is due to meet with Oman's prime minister, minister of commerce and industry as well as other senior officials.

A number of representatives from the Iranian private sector are visiting Oman alongside the Iranian delegation as the joint meeting is aimed at exploring investment and business opportunities.

In the 15th Iran-Oman Joint Economic Commission, the Iranian and Omani sides will examine various opportunities for the expansion of bilateral cooperation and the eradication of existing barriers.
