The Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) published a report on Saturday that 262,944 tons of aluminum ingot have been produced over the period which extends from March 21st to the end of 2014.

The amount is planned to hit 1.5 million tonnes by the end of a 20-Year Vision Plan marked by the country (March 2025).

The country is attempting to become the world’s 14th leading aluminum producer by the end of a Fifth 5-Year Economic Development Plan, which will end in 2015.
