The plan was announced by the Ghani’s spokesperson on Wednesday Nazif Salarzi.
Salarzi pointed out that the priority in Ghani’s visit would be to negotiate the issue of regional peace and stability including ways of fighting terrorism.
The official added that "the articles of peace agreement that had been offered by Iran during former Afghan President Hamid Karzai, are also going to be reviewed to be signed by Ghani.”
Extending economic and transit relations, finding ways to cope with drug trafficking, and exploring the possible ways of establishing peace in Afghanistan were also reported to be among the most important issues to be discussed.
According to the spokesperson, the exact time of Ashraf Ghani's visit to Tehran is going to be fixed and announced later on.
