Tehran, YJC. The Islamic Republic on Monday officially unveiled a comprehensive website named “Rapporteur” in a new move to “provide accurate and unbiased reports about the human rights violations” from around the globe.

The unveiling was carried out at a ceremony held in Tehran on January 25. A number of high-ranking officials attended the ceremony.

Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission member Vahid Ahmadi and Tehran representative to the parliament Laleh Eftekhari were among the figures who took part in the ceremony.

It is said that Rapporteur aims at providing unique information on cases involving human rights violations in certain countries, especially Western countries, inclusing the US, France, Canada, and Britain.

The people operating the website also plan to investigate the West’s double-standard approach to the issue of human rights.

The website can be accessed at www.rapport.ir.
