Tehran, YJC. Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission spokesman has defined five features of a ‘good deal’ in nuclear negotiations.

Hosseini quoted the Leader of the Islamic Republic as counting five features of
a good deal in nuclear negotiations with world powers, which he believed was
the redlines of the Islamic system and should be adhered to.
"The first feature is that the deal should secure nation’s
rights and esteem; the second is that the deal should observe redlines and
national interests,” he told Mehr. "A good deal is a deal which could be
implemented for once and the details are discussed and decided clearly; a
fourth feature is one which removes all sanctions altogether,” he said, quoting
the Leader.
"Since sanctions have been used by west as a pressure stick,
it should be nullified as a weapon, a motivation fueling negotiations so far;
when a deal is reached, the very nature of sanctions would seem pointless,”
Naqavi Hosseini asserted, according to Mehr, giving the fifth feature of a good
deal as "one which secures Iran’s nuclear rights; some of these features are
complimentary; in general, however, our negotiators should have in mind all
these five features.
Naqavi Hosseini also extended his remarks to pitfalls of
Geneva JPOA; "one such weakness was that the Plan had many general statements
which provided opportunities for double-entendres; for example, a statement
said that no new sanctions would be commissioned once the Plan was hammered
out, while the US has prepared five other sanction measures under the pretext
that they are extension of old sanctions and are not new since the Plan,” he
objected.
He demanded that negotiators work in the talks ‘to set a
decisive interpretation of these statements.’ "In a probable final deal, if
they commission sanctions on us as extension of any old sanction, it would not
be acceptable,” he added.
Naqavi Hosseini believed that Iran’s voluntary measures to
build trust and as showing good will would not be a permanent commitment if a
final deal is reached; he quoted the Leader again who on his February 8 address
had said that any voluntary measure would be out of question in case of any
final deal, since Iran had closed Fordow military facility and Arak heavy water
complex and had given access to IAEA inspectors to prove good will.
On the stories ongoing in the news stories that sanctions
would not be eliminated once for all since they had been applied gradually,
Naqavi Hosseini said that apart from the time when sanctions gradually applied,
it had purportedly targeted Iran’s nuclear program, and any sanctions by any
state or organization against Iran’s nuclear program should be removed. "This
would not be rationally plausible that we both sign a deal and at the same time
sanctions still remain on place,” he said.
