Tehran, YJC. A parliamentary delegation from Tehran arrived in Kuala Lumpur to hold talks with the Malaysian counterparts.

A delegation of six lawmakers led by head of Iran-Malaysia Parliamentary Friendship Group Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi has made a trip to Kuala Lumpur on Saturday

The Iranian MPs will hold talks on ways to develop parliamentary bonds with Malaysia and regional and international issues in the five-day visit to the Southeast Asian country.

Kerman and Ravar representatives Zahedi, Toiserkan representative Mohammad Mehdi Mofatteh, Ahar and Heris representatives Abbas Fallahi-Babajan, Damghan representative Abdolrahman Rostamian, Karaj representative Aziz Akbarian, and Baft representative Alireza Manzari are the members of the delegation.

Malaysian Parliament Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia said the Malaysian parliament is keen on strengthening parliamentary cooperation with Iran.

He visited Iran four times during his six-year tenure.
